UBC Celebrates: Ice Cream Day
The coolest event in town!
My role as a Digital Communications Assistant
To celebrate this fabulously delicious, incredibly versatile and intellectually stimulating treat, the UBC Faculty of Applied Science teamed up with UBC Land and Food Systems and the Sauder School of Business to host an ice cream talk and social. For this event, I created videos for UBC Applied Science’s social media platforms and UBC Digital Signage to promote the event to our target segment. Furthermore, I conducted social media marketing campaigns to engage UBC Applied Science’s audience. Due to my efforts, my marketing campaign achieved a 73% conversion rate, attracted 168 attendees for the event and increased Instagram Stories reach for event coverage by 17%. Furthermore, my event page was apsc.ubc.ca‘s most viewed page in 2019.
