Raising holiday cheer one sip at a time
My role as a Digital Communications Assistant
UBC Applied Science (APSC) decked the halls this Christmas by enacting my vision of a Hot Cocoa & Concert Fundraiser for United Way, a non-profit organization that supports vulnerable seniors, families and children across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. My duties for the event included copywriting, event photography and promoting the event on APSC’s online platforms such as social media, website and email newsletter. The event was sp-elf-tacular because my marketing campaign achieved a 70% conversion rate and we were able to raise $600 for United Way.
